Is it really possible to find out who viewed your facebook profile? In this post, you will find the correct answer to this question.
Facebook is no doubt the biggest social media platform in the world with more than 2.5 billion users. Every day new accounts have been made. People using Facebook to connect with each other. Recently Facebook also integrates video chat features on the platform where users can do live video chatting.
One of the thoughts that always hover among every FB user is the ability to know who has visited their profiles. LinkedIn has always had it – although you need to be a premium member to really access the full list of who has viewed your profile Facebook was always against sharing this information with users.
To dig out deeply I have searched the solution and found out 2 different methods which are listed below:
Find out Who Viewed my Facebook Profile
The First Method Which I found on the internet is by Installing a Google Chrome Plugin.
The Chrome Plugin Names SOCIAL PROFILE VIEW NOTIFICATION Claims that Using their plugin you can really see who is viewing your Facebook Profile.
But in reality, this plugin doesn’t provide any kind of functionality or features by which you can find out who is viewing your Facebook Profile.
I would also like to advise all of you NOT to use any kind of PLUGINS or EXTENSIONS who claims that they can offer this kind of service because sometimes it’s possible that they can steal your social profile data and it may end up hacking up your profiles.
FACEBOOK is not that FOOL. After recent incidents of Cambridge Analytica, they have improved their security settings. Do you seriously think that using a simple plugin it’s possible to breach the Privacy of the GIANT COMPANY like FACEBOOK? I don’t think so.
Let’s Talk about the second method which I came across and I have also personally tried that.
Find Manually Who Views your Facebook Profile
I have found this method everywhere and most common on the internet. Carefully follow the steps.
- First of all, visit your Facebook profile timeline page (Note Homepage of Facebook) – facebook.com/xyz
- Make sure that the page loaded completely
- Right-click anywhere on the page and select “View Page Source”.
- Now in this way you can see the complete source code information of that page. It means your profile
- This will have information about your profile. Hold CTRL + F to open the search box, and then copy-paste this into it – InitialChatFriendsList
- You will begin to see the profile ID of the people who visited your Facebook profile.
- These profile IDs are of the person.
- Just go to facebook.com and paste the ID number from that page along with a “\”. For example, if the ID is 1234, you have to put it on- facebook.com/1234.
Now You might be wondering is it really the profiles who are viewing my ID?
NO, IT IS NOT. when you do that, it is the lists of people in order from your chat list, it doesn’t tell you who viewed your profile.
I personally tried that but it didn’t work.
Many applications in the Google play store and Apply store also claims that using it you can find out who is viewing your Facebook profile. But The applications online just show you random names probably flourished your Chat list. And giving permission to random programs to have use of your conversations can lead to huge security and hacking Issue.
A similar case is also applicable to Instagram. You can’t know that who vies your profile until and unless you follow that person or celebrity. Instagram is a great platform to become an influencer to make money but initially, you need to more focus on increasing your Instagram followers, in this matter, you can Buy Instagram Followers in starting, and then you can increase your reach to make your profile more visible.
I highly advise you to never share your social media credentials and don’t use any shady apps or plugins who claim to reveal the profile list who stocks you. It’s impossible and Facebook is way more difficult to Hack.
So, I hope you now you know the TRUTH behind the most Viral Question on the internet. Let me know your thoughts in the comment section. I would love to know your opinion.
