How to find Router’s IP Address in Windows?
If you are using Windows Operating system then You can find your Routers IP address by following the given steps:
- Open cmd (Command Prompt) by WINDOWS KEY+R or Search cms on windows start menu.
- In the cmd as shown in the figure type ipconfig.
- In the screen you can see Default Gateway, That’s your routers IP address. you can use that IP address to Login to your Router’s settings by Username and Password.
In the second Method You can find your IP Address using TCP/IP:
- Open Network and Internet Settings.
- Now Open Change Adaptor Option.
- As shown in the above image in adaptor option right click on WiFi icon and click on Status.
- Now in WiFi Status click on details.
- As you can see all the details of your WiFi will display including your default Gateway.
How to find Router’s IP Address in MacOS?
- You can do it in 2 simple steps. In the first step open Terminal window (Finder>Applications>Utilities>Terminal.app) in your MacBook Air/Pro.
- Now Type: netstat -nr | grep default

- Open a terminal window (Applications>System Tools>Terminal) and type
ip route | grep default
or ifconfig
